COMBAT DIVERS OF THE MARINE NATIONALE
On July 23, 2014, the official ceremony to grant the 1000th Certificate as combat diver for the Marine Nationale took place.
The official ceremony was held at the Diving School of the French Navy in Saint-Mandrier in the Vars, right on the harbour of Toulon. It was a gathering of the highest solemnity hosting the highest authorities of the Navy and Army of France.
L'École de Plongée de la Marine Nationale (the elite Diving School of the French Navy), founded in 1952, trains the elite of the French Special Forces for underwater operations on behalf of the Commando Hubert of the French Navy and the CPEOM (Parachutist Training Centre for Maritime Operations) of the Army.
RALF TECH has been supplying French Special Forces since 2010 and particularly the elite diving combat units, is proud to have been associated with the event as the sponsor of the 90th National Combat Course of the Navy and the 1000th graduate.
As such, the "X Nageurs de Combats" certified this year, as well as their instructors, have received a new RALF TECH model specially designed for them, the WRX « T » Millenium Hybrid.
Also present at the ceremony were a large number of former combat divers, starting with the creators of the National Marine Diving School, Bob Maloubier and Claude Riffaud, carrying the Certificate number 1 together. They both received with pride their WRX "T" Millennium timepiece from Frank Huyghe, the chairman of RALF TECH.
Since 2014, RALF TECH has equipped with its timepieces all the graduates of the school.
